Abu Dhabi: Lulu, a leading hypermarket group, has launched UAE-made pure milk to mark the 50th National Day of the UAE. This is part of Lulu Hypermarket’s plans to promote local agricultural products in the UAE. With this, pure milk from the Lulu Group is now available in the kitchen.
As part of the initiative, Lulu Hypermarket will promote the marketing of agricultural products in collaboration with local farms and organizations in the UAE. The campaign at Lulu Hypermarket in Abu Dhabi Mushrif Mall was inaugurated by Saeed Al Bahri Salem Alameri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Agricultural and Food Safety Authority, in the presence of MA Yousafali, Chairman of the Lulu Group.
Saeed Al Bahri Salem Alameri praised the work of the Lulu Group in promoting local products in the UAE and thereby supporting indigenous farmers. Lulu Chairman MA Yusuf Ali said that as a local entity, Lulu would provide the necessary support to promote the local agricultural sector and as a responsible retailer, it was their duty to provide a sustainable market for local industries. Yusufali said it would not only help the industry, but also strengthen the UAE’s food security. Silal CEO Jamal Al Salem Daheri, Lulu CEO Saifi Rupawala, Executive Director Ashraf Ali MA and other officials were present.
