Ranchi: A massive fire broke out in a multi-storied building in Jharkhand’s Dhanbabid. 14 people died and many were injured. It is reported that many people are trapped in the building.
The fire broke out at Ashirvad Tower Apartments in Jorafak, Dhanbad around 6 pm. It is 160 km from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand.
Dhanbad SSP Sanjeev Kumar said several people had come to the apartment to attend a wedding function. The cause of the fire is still unknown. We are concentrating on rescue operations,’ he said.
