Dhanush’s comeback with a commercial entertainment film after a while. The film also has the distinction of Dhanush returning to the commercial genre after a while, who has only been part of very serious films for the past few days.
Full of action, romance and songs, the film is titled Vaathi. The film is slated to release on February 17 on Shivaratri. The songs of the movie have already hit the charts. The lyrical video of the song ‘Wa Wathi’ has garnered three crore views so far.
GV Prakash is the music director. Directed by Venky Atluri, Malayalee Samyuktha Menon is the heroine. Produced by Sitara Productions, the film will be distributed in Kerala on February 17 by Skanda Cinemas and Einstein Media.
