More than 3 crore 57 lakh passengers traveled through Hamad International Airport last year. In 2021, it was 17,70,000. The reason for the increase in the number of passengers is the football World Cup. There has been an increase of more than 28 percent in the number of air services. At the same time, there has been a decrease of 11 percent in the cargo air service, according to the figures released by the Civil Aviation Authority.
