Our generation has the opportunity to see the comet that Neanderthals who lived on earth saw fifty thousand years ago.

There is no shortage of mystery and wonder in our universe, full of miracles. Among them is a green comet, said to have been seen by Neanderthals who lived in forests and caves fifty thousand years ago, and is now passing very close to Earth’s orbit. In this case, Kodaikanal Aerophysical Laboratory is continuously studying its movement.

Comet seen by Neanderthals

Said to have been seen by cave-dwelling Neanderthals fifty thousand years ago, it shines a spectacular bluish-green color unlike any other comet that has already passed Earth, thanks to its highly luminous golden, long tail.

First discovered in 2022

It was not discovered until many years ago, like other comets. It was discovered on March 2, 2022 by NASA scientists Bryce Bolin and Frank Massey. By studying the accuracy of its motion and orbital path since the day of discovery, they found that it came closest to the Sun on January 12th, 50,000 years later, and today, on February 1st, it comes closest to Earth’s orbit.

Astronomers all over the world are eagerly squinting and snapping pictures of a new comet within a year, speeding into the solar system.

Continuous Monitoring by Kodaikanal Aerophysical Laboratory

Scientists at the Kodaikanal Aerophysical Laboratory, a branch laboratory of the Indian Aerophysical Laboratory, have been continuously monitoring and studying this comet for the past three days. With the help of Hanle telescope located in Ladakh city of Indian Aerophysical Laboratory, they have taken pictures and published it. In Kodaikanal hills, due to rain clouds, they are monitoring and taking photographs with the help of digital telemetry technology.

Scientists have informed that this beautiful green comet will continue to be visible for one more week after sunset from the places where the sky is clear and above the North Pole star and with the help of telescopes, this comet can be seen.

The truth is that if we don’t see this green comet, which is eagerly watched by astrologers, no one will see it for another fifty thousand years.
