With an investment of more than USD 230,000 dollars, this health home purchased an ultrasound machine that has been enabled since December 2022, as well as RX equipment that is in the installation phase. Also, preventive and corrective maintenance and updating of a tomograph was carried out.

The equipment is part of the comprehensive repowering of the imaging area and will triple the study capacity per month, in the case of new equipment. It is expected that more than 150,000 people will benefit each year with these services.

For its part, the clinical laboratory service incorporated two immunochemical teams. For the reinforcement of equipment and infrastructure in this area, three phases were contemplated, the first consists of the installation of the two equipment and infrastructure of the place for its operation, the first already in operation since December 26, 2022 and the second, in staff training stage for its management. The approximate investment is USD 890 thousand in effective determinations.

The second phase consists of infrastructure issues, floor arrangement, roof, wall, lighting, air conditioning, electrical wiring, among other adaptations. This stage has already begun and continues with remodeling work.

The third and last phase integrates the winery and sampling with new equipment, which will take place until approximately the third week of March.

With these improvements, the hospital’s laboratory service increases its resolution capacity by more than 100%, since it will carry out different types of tests that will prevent patients from being referred to other establishments.
