After Gautam Adani’s assets plummeted in response to the Hindenburg report, Mukesh Ambani became Asia’s richest man.

The Hindenburg Company, which is based in the United States, had published a report on January 24. In it, it was reported that the Adani Group engaged in fraudulent activities to inflate the value of its shares in the stock market.

Following this, the shares of Gautam Adani, who was on the 3rd place in the list of the world’s richest people, started to fall a week ago. Having lost $4,400 crore (roughly Rs. 3.60 lakh crore), it is currently at the 15th position with $7,508 crore (roughly Rs. 6.14 lakh crore) in the list.

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Group, is at the 9th position in the list of the world’s richest people with a net worth of 8,370 crore dollars (about Rs. 6.84 lakh crore).

In this case, Gautam Adani, who was at the top of the list of Asia’s richest people, lost that place. Mukesh Ambani, who was in the second position, has advanced to the first position.
