Let’s face it: Spotify, despite being the largest music streaming service in the world, is only the third most popular music streaming service in Israel – after YouTube and Galglatz. While on YouTube the successful songs record figures of almost a million views every week, on Spotify it is rare that any song reaches a quarter of a million listens in Israel – 200,000 is considered an especially high figure here. A few individual songs managed to pass 300,000.

Now this record has been broken, smashed and crushed by none other than Miley Cyrus, who returned after about 4 years of musical disappearance with the hit “Flowers” for her new album. In its second week on Spotify, it remained in first place here and reached an unprecedented listening figure in Israel – 460,000; How high is that number? Look at the figure for the second place – “I” by Omar Adam, which rises one stage from the previous week. He recorded only 190,000 listens – not a bad figure at all, by the way, but less than half of Cyrus; A little behind him was a Barbie building with a step down to “Kern Shemesh”; In fourth place jumps “Sick Love” by Far Tessi four stages; And in fifth place remains Tuna and Yasmin Moalem’s live performance of “Sahara”. The one who was eliminated from the top five is Odia, whose “Amat” skips over “Sahara” and drops from fourth to sixth place.

Tuna returns to lead the list of the most balanced artists, overtaking Aden Hasson who drops to second place; Omar Adam remained in third place; Eyal Golan steps in the fourth; And Far Tessi and Odia Azoulay alternate here as well, although in the 5th and 6th places instead of the 4th and 6th.

The balanced albums in Israel remained unchanged: Par Tessi’s “Field Radio” in first place; Tuna’s “Wild East” in the second; “Karn Shemesh” by Banya Barbie on Tuesday; Siza’s “SOS” on Wednesday; and “Album 2” by Eden Hasson on Thursday.
