11 killed in central Vietnam floods

Rains and floods continue in central Vietnam. Eleven people are reported dead. Several people are missing and the search is on for them. Tens of thousands of homes were flooded. Thousands were evacuated.

Six were killed in Fu Yen province and four in Bin Din province. More than 60,000 homes have been flooded and more than 4,700 homes have been isolated.

Everything is in Bin Din and Fu Yen. From November 27 to 30, a total of 800 mm of rain was received.

Between January and November, 119 people were killed or missing in natural disasters in Vietnam, mainly hurricanes, floods and landslides. It has injured 144 people and caused a financial loss of 3,600 billion Vietnamese dong (US $ 158 million).
