New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made 21 foreign trips since last year 2019. The central government has informed that the cost is Rs 22.76 crore.

This information is contained in the written reply given by Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muralitharan to a question asked in the Lok Sabha. Details: 21 foreign trips undertaken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi since 2019. The expenditure was Rs 22.76 crore (Rs 22,76,76,934). Trips undertaken by the President 8. The expenditure for the same was Rs.6.24 crores (Rs. 6,24,31,424).

It has been mentioned that since 2019, Prime Minister Modi has traveled to Japan three times and to the United States and the United Arab Emirates twice each.

Similarly, out of 8 visits by the President, 7 trips were made by former President Ram Nath Kovind. The current President Draupadi Murmu went to Britain last September.

Since 2019, External Affairs Minister Jaishankar has made 86 foreign visits. The reply stated that the cost for this is Rs.20,87,01,475 crore.
