The Chief Minister has personally visited the areas affected by the heavy rains across Tamil Nadu due to the northeast monsoon and has been providing relief assistance to the affected people.
Meanwhile, heavy rains in Thoothukudi district on the 25th of last month affected many areas. The normal life of the people has been severely affected by the floods, especially in residential areas including Thoothukudi Corporation, Thiruchendur and Kayalpattinam.
In this situation, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu MK Stalin will fly from Chennai to the Thoothukudi airport at 1 pm tomorrow to inspect the rain and flood damage in the Thoothukudi district. From there he is going to view the flood damage by car.
