Theat will provide maintenance services for the auxiliary propulsion units (APU) in the aircraft fleet of a global airline, with which Theat has been working for 5 years

TAT Technologies reported today (Mon) a significant expansion of a contract with a global airline for the supply of maintenance services (MRO). It was stated that the company has been working with the client for 5 years, and following the success of the cooperation, it was decided to extend the service contract for another 5 years. According to Tat, the revenues from the new contract will amount to 50 million dollars.

As part of the expansion of the contract, you will provide maintenance services for the Auxiliary Power Unit model GTCP331 of the American company Honeywell. These are small jet engines that are not used to drive the plane, but to supply energy to its internal systems.

In 2020 and 2021, Theat signed several strategic contracts with Honeywell under which it will provide MRO service for 10 years for the auxiliary propulsion units of the leading models of the aircraft manufacturers Boeing and Airbus, including Boeing’s B777, B737 and B767/757 and Airbus A320.

Thatat Company, which is under the control of the Fimi Foundation, manufactures and provides maintenance and repair services for heat control systems in civil and military aircraft, aviation propulsion units, and production of jet engine parts.
