At least five terrorists were killed tonight (Monday) during an operation by the IDF and the Shin Bet to arrest a Hamas squad that tried to carry out a shooting attack at Almog Junction last week.
New details emerging from the incident reveal that a force from the Bekaa Lavi Battalion was sent to search the structure that was nicknamed “Zimmer”. Near the building, the MP spotted a warehouse and decided to check it together with the HPC and the SMGD. As he approached the warehouse, fire was opened at them, the MP was hit by a bullet that hit the cartridge and the ceramic vest.
In response, the front force returned fire and retreated a little to take cover, while at the same time an instruction was given to the men and women fighters deployed in the area to open a barrage of fire towards the warehouse. The fire easily penetrates the warehouse and kills five terrorists and seriously injures two others. The terrorists prepared for battle with the IDF forces with a lot of ammunition and hand grenades.

As mentioned, in an intelligence effort by the Shin Bet, since the attack, information has been collected according to which the members of the infrastructure are hiding in a building in the refugee camp, while they are being helped by their family members and local residents and are engaged in planning additional attacks.
