Crackling joints is a dangerous indicator of this disease

by time news

Doctors and researchers confirmed that the feeling of crackling in the joints may be an indication of serious diseases, and not as some attribute it to symptoms of aging and advancing age only.

And the British Public Health Authority reported, according to the newspaper “The Sun”, that cracking joints may be a symptom of osteoporosis, pointing out that people with osteoarthritis are affected in both knees, while some may suffer from this condition in only one knee.

She pointed out that people with arthrosis will experience pain while walking, especially if they go up or down the stairs, and it may come to swinging the person’s knees or the inability to stand up straight.

And she showed that those who suffer from osteoporosis in the hip will have a problem moving the hip joints, such as difficulty wearing shoes or getting in and out of the car, and usually these people also suffer from pain in the thigh and outside the hip.

She explained that osteoarthritis affects 3 main areas of the hand, namely: the base of the thumb, the joints closest to the tips of the fingers, and the middle joints of the fingers, indicating that the pain may fade over time, but the bumps and swelling will remain.

Regarding treatments for osteoporosis symptoms, the authority confirmed that they include lifestyle measures such as maintaining an ideal weight and exercising regularly, medical treatment to relieve pain, and supportive treatments to make daily activities easier.

The authority stressed the need to see a doctor in the event of a continuous crackling in the joints.
