Leeds management have decided to terminate Jesse Marsch’s contract. Still defeated this weekend against Nottingham, Leeds find themselves in a delicate position in the standings. Marcelo Bielsa’s former club are currently in 17th place in the Premier League, level on points with 18th-placed Everton.

The Whites remain on a six-game losing streak in the league, which leaves them at the mercy of the red zone. These poor results therefore forced the club’s management to make a decision: to dismiss Jesse Marsch from his coaching position. After replacing Marcelo Bielsa in March 2022, the American coach will have managed to maintain the club last season. However, he leaves with a record of 16 defeats in 37 games on the bench of the English club.
