Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi starrer Selfie’s new song teaser is out. Akshay Kumar himself shared the teaser of the song Kudiyani Teri on Twitter. Along with Akshay, Mrinal Thakur is also entering the singing arena. The new song in Selfie is a recreation of Prophecy’s 2018 song Kudiye Ni Teri.
Main Khiladi, the first song released from the film, also gained attention. The song from the 1994 film Main Khiladi Tu Anari starring Aksha and Saif Ali Khan was recreated in Selfie.
Selfie will hit theaters on February 24. Selfie is a Hindi remake of the super hit Malayalam film Driving License starring Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramood. Akshay Kumar played the role of Prithviraj and Emraan Hashmi played the role of Suraj.
Starring Diana Penty and Nushrat Barucha, the film also stars Bhumi Padnekar, Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khatib and Smriti Srikanth in lead roles. Selfie is directed by Raj Mehta who directed films like Good News and Jagjag Jio.
Selfie is Akshay Kumar’s most anticipated film. Most of Akshay Kumar’s films released in 2022 were failures like Samrat Prithviraj, Rama Sethu, Cut Putli, Bachchan Pandey, Rakshabandhan.
