Customers of State Bank of India (SBI) using Online Banking can use the secure OTP app to generate OTP for internet banking related transactions/activities. This app is available for Android and iOS users.

Follow the steps below to register with SBI Secure OTP app:
– Download the SBI Secure OTP app and open it.
– Select SIM 1 or SIM 2 to enroll in SBI Secure OTP app (SIM selection not required in case of single SIM).
– Message about sending SMS from mobile to verify mobile number will be displayed on the screen.
– Click on ‘Continue’ button. And an SMS with a unique code will be sent to a pre-defined number.
– Enter the password and click on ‘Continue’
– Tick the checkbox to accept the terms & conditions and click on the ‘OK’ button.
– OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number
– Enter the received OTP After OTP verification, user will be requested to set MPIN of SBI Secure OTP app.
– After that, an activation code will be sent to the registered mobile number. The code is valid for up to 10 minutes
– Login to Online SBI and complete the activation.

How to use SBI Secure OTP app?
– Login to SBI Online
– Go to profile section and activate secure OTP link
– Enter the activation summer received
– After successful verification, Secure OTP app user registration will be completed
Note that the OTP authentication method for Internet Banking/YONO LITE app will be transferred to SBI Secure OTP app. With this, customer will no longer receive OTP through SMS. Login to SBI Secure OTP app using MPIN.
SBI has advised its customers to ensure that they have the same SIM in place to generate the secure OTP used during registration. Once registered with the app on the mobile, you need to use the same mobile to generate the OTP. Meanwhile, if you want to register from another mobile, insert the same SIM into the new handset. Follow the registration process mentioned above.
