Change in UAE Cabinet; New ministers announced

Dubai: New ministers have been appointed in the UAE cabinet. UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced the cabinet change. President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan approved.

Shamma bint Suhail Al Masroui has been appointed as the Minister of Social Development. Salim Bin Khalid Al Qasimi will be the Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs. Cabinet Secretary General Maryam bint Ahmad Al Hammadi has been appointed as the Minister of State. Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of Artificial Intelligence, has also been given the additional title of Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office.

Abdullah Nasser Loota was appointed as the Chairman of the Competitiveness Council. Sheikh Mohammed expressed his gratitude to Hessa Bu Hamid and Noora Al Kaabi who have performed well in the past. Both will continue in the Cabinet as Ministers of State.
