No omicron presence in Kuwait: Ministry of Health with confirmation

Kuwait City: The presence of omicron in Kuwait has not been reported. This was stated by the spokesman of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al Sanad. He added that reports that the Omicron variant had been confirmed were baseless. He urged the people to rely only on information from official sources to confirm the news about the Kovid expansion.

Everyone must adhere to Kovid protocols for health care. He also commented on the issue of imposing a lockdown. He says there is no need for a full or partial lockdown in the country.

Meanwhile, the committee chairman Saleh al-Mutairi said the new situation had been reviewed by the parliament’s health and employment committee.
