Actress Raveena Tandon says that Twitter is completely polarized. Raveena said that it is not possible to take a neutral stand on Twitter and gangs and Naxalites have taken over there. Raveena’s response was in a podcast given to ANI.

“Speaking or not speaking is the problem. Twitter is polarized right now. Right wing and left wing have taken over there. There is nothing you can do there. Twitter is full of gangs and naxalites. A stand cannot be taken between the two. Can’t be neutral either. However, if the time comes to speak for my country, I will certainly come forward.

I get a lot of comments on social media. If you just act, people will comment that what do you know about this? What can I say? Am I not an Indian citizen? Not the mother of the children who will reach the next generation of this country? Am I not paying tax? Aren’t I proud of this country?

How can being an actress take away my right to speak for the country? Who are they to say this to me? I don’t go to their house and say don’t say this, don’t say that,’ Raveena said.

Raveena spoke about the allegations against her and the gossips that appeared in magazines in the nineties. ‘During the nineties, I was called many names and teased about my body parts. I didn’t care about it then. It still is. But it is a very bad trend. Gossip magazines are the worst of the nineties.

Some women are their worst enemies. They are the ones who shame women and do anything to put another woman down. Today they are walking as big feminists. I wonder when this happened.

Female news editors fall in love with leading actors. Those were the last words of those stars. If the leading actors want to remove an actress from the industry, they will insult the woman and write bad articles about them in magazines.

It will ruin their career. Finally, in the new issue of the same magazine, it will be written that ‘the story published earlier has been proven not to be true’. And who will read it? Earlier headlines would have become big news by then,’ said Raveena Tandon.
