VU BESIDES – The former WWE Champion went from the streets to the ring and then to the big screen. With his role in Knock at the Cabinhe could become one of those actors whose character is a hundred miles from the feeling produced by the physical.

A giant with the body of a bodybuilder, scarred face and arms covered with tattoos, emerges in the middle of the forest. Wearing thin-rimmed glasses and a short-sleeved white shirt, the man offers a surprisingly refined appearance. He approaches a little girl who is having fun picking up grasshoppers, talks to her and wins her confidence by convincing her of her skills as an insect hunter. He asks her where her parents are and what house she lives in. Finally, he apologizes. He came to kidnap her and her family.
Knock at the Cabin, M. Night Shyamalan’s latest film, which hits theaters February 1, kicks off on this scene. A tribute to Frankenstein, by James Whale, produced in 1931. The colossus who has the lead role in the feature film is 54-year-old Dave Bautista, a legend in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the freestyle wrestling championship. He has now obtained recognition as a respected actor who can play dramatic roles.
