The Ministry of External Affairs has informed that 10 Indians stranded in the disaster affected area are safe. The Ministry of External Affairs also stated that an investigation is underway for the Bengaluru native who went missing for business purposes.

At the same time, India continues to lend its hand in the rescue operations in earthquake-ravaged Turkey. As part of Operation Dost, 7 aircraft of the Air Force flew to the disaster-affected areas. More than 150 rescue workers and more than 100 health workers are active in relief operations.
