Wellington: 81 packs of cocaine found floating in the Pacific Ocean near New Zealand. A joint operation by the New Zealand Police, Coast Guard and Defense Force has found 3,200 kilograms of cocaine worth $316 million, believed to have been smuggled by international mafias. The New Zealand police concluded that the cocaine packs were to be delivered to Australia. This would have been enough cocaine to last a year in Australia. Kayakin packs also have Batman logos on the outside with a buoyancy aid. It is one of New Zealand’s largest drug busts. At the same time, New Zealand did not say what led to the operation or how they were discovered.
