The Security Strategy of the United States in 2022: leadership among powers in a better united international order. An opportunity for Spain.- José María Peredo Pombo
The National Security Strategy of the United States published in 2022 confirms the will of the North American power to assume leadership in the new order of competition and rivalry between great powers. From a realistic vision for the modernization of resources and objectives and with strengthened democratic and liberal values, the more collaborative and united role of traditional alliances and the incorporation of new actors and coalitions are presented as priority lines in the new strategy. For Spain and its Euro-Atlantic partners and allies, the document represents an opportunity to face a consistent and renewed strategic development.
