Madrid: World number one Novak Djokovic has reached the semi-finals of the Davis Cup in Serbia. Djokovic and his team advanced to the semi-finals, beating Kazakhstan in the quarterfinals.
Djokovic, who won both singles and doubles, was instrumental in Serbia’s victory. Serbia, the 2010 Davis Cup champions, will face Croatia in the semi-finals. Djokovic, who has been unbeaten in the Davis Cup singles for the past ten years, defeated Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bablik in the first match. Score: 6-3, 6-4.
