Beit Agion, or by its more familiar name “Prime Minister’s Residence”, has been the home of the Prime Minister of Israel in Balfour, Jerusalem, since 1974. A year and a half after Netanyahu left there, it was determined that the place was unfit for human habitation, and renovations began on the building. The Prime Minister’s Office revealed this evening (Thursday) the state of the official residence.
The Likud spokeswoman said: “Contrary to claims, the house in Balfour does not need renovation, it needs construction. For a year and a half, the Bennett and Lapid governments did not advance anything to promote and use the official Prime Minister’s residence in Balfour. The construction work there is expected to last several years.”
