A fire of great proportions hit, on the night of this Thursday (9), the accommodation of the Colégio Agrícola Estadual Fernando Costa and destroyed everything. The school is located in the rural area of the municipality of Santa Mariana, in the Pioneiro North of Paraná.

According to preliminary information, a teacher removed students from the site at the start of the fire. There is still no news of victims.
According to the Portal Anuncifacil, some students were taken to the hospital for having inhaled smoke, but without risk of death. Witnesses had to be removed from the scene due to the risk of an explosion.
The Fire Department is on site to control the fire. As it is a forest region, the flames need to be urgently controlled so as not to spread in the vegetation.
Reinforcements from other nearby towns have been called in and are moving to help contain the fire.
