Fighter jets are needed; Zelensky on the European Union

Brussels: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited Brussels, the headquarters of the European Union. Zelensky arrived in Brussels to address the European Union Parliament. Zelensky’s visit to the European Union came after reaching Britain and requesting aid.

In his address to the European Union Parliament, Zelensky said that together with the European Union, they are defending against the biggest anti-European power in the world. Ukrainians are on the defensive on the battlefield. Zelensky also said that he would like to thank everyone who stood with him for the life of the Ukrainian people. Zelensky arrived in Britain and demanded warplanes and missiles. Zelensky claimed that there was a positive response from the British government, but Britain’s response was only that it was looking into the matter. Although he did not make a public appeal for arms to the European Union, Zelensky is reported to have made private demands to leaders.

Only two weeks left for the one-year anniversary of the Ukraine-Russia conflict. The war between the two countries begins on February 24. The countries of the world, including India, have asked both countries at various stages to end the war and resolve it through negotiation.
