iQOO Neo 7 5G price in India, RAM and storage leaked ahead of February 16 launch

iQOO will be discontinuing the iQOO Neo 7 5G on February 16 in India. Ahead of the official announcement, a new leak revealed details of the price, RAM, and storage options of the Neo 7 5G. According to tipster Paras Guglani, the Neo 7 5G 12GB RAM variant will be launched in India for Rs 34,999. The Neo 7 5G is expected to be launched in two storage options. The base model will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the higher-end 12GB RAM option will have 256GB of storage. The smartphone maker will also be offering a launch offer of Rs 4,000 cashback (bank and exchange bonus), bringing the price down to Rs 30,999. The Neo 7 5G is expected to go on sale from February 19 or February 20 in India and will be available via Amazon and iQOO online store as well as offline Vivo stores.

iQOO Neo 7 5G benchmarks reveal the performance of the Dimensity 8200 SoC

iQOO Neo 7 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, which is a new addition to MediaTek’s mid-range chipset. The phone’s benchmark scores reveal how the Dimensity 8200 inside the phone offers an edge over other mid-range chips like the Snapdragon 870 and predecessor Dimensity 8100. iQOO Neo 7 5G scored 8,62,438 points on AnTuTu, which is much higher than the previous iQOO Neo 6 score of 7,28,976 points. On the other hand, the older Dimensity 8100 chipset scores just 7,10,269 on AnTuTu.

When it comes to Geekbench, the Neo 7 with its Dimensity 8200 hits close to 1,000 points in the single-core section and gets close to 4,000 points in the multi-core section. The Dimensity 8100 and Snapdragon 870 lag behind with less than 3,500 multi-core points on the same platform.

In 3D Mark’s extreme wildlife stress test, the device scored 1,793 as the best loop score while maintaining 99.4 percent stability. The Snapdragon 870 gets 84.4 percent stability, while the Dimensity 8100 is right behind it at 99 percent stability.

Expected specifications iQOO Neo 7 5G

iQOO Neo 7 5G is expected to come with a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature a triple camera system with a 64MP main lens and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. It will have a 16MP selfie camera.

It will be powered by Dimensity 8200 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It will house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
