Jayakanthan who made a fuss of Kannadasan on his way…Kaviarasar gave a standard reply…

by time news

Many movie fans know what kind of poet Kannadasan was. Writer Jayakanthan had recorded a wrong opinion about such famous kannadasana. Now let’s see the quality response given by Kannadasan.

In 1965, Sivaji Ganesan starrer “Thiruvilayadal” was a huge hit. The film was directed by AP Nagarajan. KV Mahadevan composed the music for the film.

One of the songs featured in it was “Patum Nane Bhavaum Nane” which became a very popular song. This song was written by Kannadasan. But the writer Jayakanthan has written in his journal that this song was not written by Kannadasan, this song was written by a poet named KAMU Sheriff, but Kannadasan put his name on it. Following this, many people believed that Jayakanthan had written the song and started saying that the song was written by K.M. Seripthan.

Following this, Kannadasan responded to this in a magazine saying, “I asked Sampath Iyengar, AP Nagarajan’s assistant, to tell me to sing the song Patum Nane Bhavaum Nane.” He is alive. Vaidyanathan, the manager who was with us then, is still alive. Music composer KV Mahadevan and his relatives are still alive” and wrote asking them generously.

And while writing about the writer Jayakanthan in that magazine, Kannadasan is going to severely criticize him saying, “It is Jayakanthan’s habit to speak and write without knowing what we are talking and writing.”
