Can apply for a scholarship for a specialized course in digital art for film and videogames, a specialized course in the FullStack Developers Hotbed or do a software programming technique.
Comfama, Through the Business Alliance for the Employment of Women and Youth, together with Academy by PolygonUs, as its academic training ally, they open a call for scholarships that will support learning and labor insertion of young people talents in the digital art industry.
The objective of these specialized courses is to teach through a virtual community, in order to promote the entertainment industry in Medellín and Latin America.
According to Oscar Cuellar, director of Academy by PolygonUs, “alliances with companies such as Wacom and Unity allow us to be at the forefront and be benchmarks, so we can guarantee that students at the end of their training process will have the necessary skills that will will allow labor insertion in big productions of the entertainment industry”.
What will students learn from the program?
● Techniques required by the entertainment industry in digital art or programming.
● Technical English and soft skills, taught by CESDE as an ally of the project (for some courses).

Registration for the program will be enabled until March 16, 2023, at this link.
If you want to apply, the requirements are as follows:
● Women over 16 years of age, with no age limit.
● Men between the ages of 16 and 28.
● Have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree
● Live in Antioquia and if you live in the Aburrá Valley, reside in strata 1, 2, 3 or 4.
● Being an unemployed person.
● Being a beneficiary of your parents or a relative who is employed and affiliated with the family compensation fund; or have been employed and have contributed 1 year during the last 2 years.
Keep in mind that new training programs will be opened during the call. I recommend you be very attentive!
