Doha: Media One ‘Salute the Heroes’ award distribution tomorrow. Individuals, institutions and organizations who have served in various fields related to the World Cup are honoured. The ceremony will be held at Hotel Crowne Plaza in the evening.
Salute Heroes is an award organized by MediaOne in association with Riyadh Medical Center to honor Indians who have rendered commendable service in various fields of the World Cup. The winners of the Salute the Heroes award were selected from the nominations received till January 17. Organizations, associations, volunteers and officials were all eligible to make nominations.
The jury has found the most deserving candidates in various fields after a detailed examination of the nominations. Distinguished persons from the ministries of Qatar and the regional organizers of the World Cup, the Supreme Committee, will be the chief guests at the award ceremony.
