Chennai: The price of gold has been decreasing in Chennai for the last 2 days. The day before yesterday, the price of ornamental gold fell by Rs.64 per pound and was sold at Rs.43,000.
In this case, the price of gold decreased by Rs.55 per gram yesterday and was sold at Rs.5,320. It is selling at Rs.42,560 per pound, down by Rs.440. 24 carat pure gold is selling at Rs.45,456 per pound. A gram of silver was selling at Rs 72.50 yesterday. The price of silver per kilo bar is Rs.72,500.
The decrease in gold prices for the last 2 days has caused some happiness among jewelery buyers.
