The depression in the Bay of Bengal strengthened into a deep depression. The Indian Meteorological Department had forecast a depression near the Andaman Sea in the next 12 hours.
The Indian Meteorological Department has warned that Hurricane Javat is currently developing in the Bay of Bengal and is located in the central and western Bay of Bengal.
Necessary precautionary measures are being taken in Odisha as a storm warning has been issued. The Railways has announced the cancellation of 95 trains plying on the Odisha coast for three days in response to the Jawad storm warning. The train service has been canceled due to safety concerns of passengers.
