90 hours of effort paid off; That toddler and mother to life

by time news

Istanbul: After hours of hard work, the 10-day-old baby and his mother came back to life. The hopeful news came during the earthquake rescue operation in Turkey and Syria.

After 90 hours of effort, Yagis rescued Ulas and his mother. They were trapped in the rubble of a collapsed building in southern Turkey’s Hatay province.

The rescuers carefully took out the toddler from among the piles of destroyed buildings without allowing even a single grain of dirt to fall on the body. His baby eyes were wide open. The baby was wrapped in a thick blanket and taken to the hospital in a vehicle. He took his mother with him. Although their bodies were badly injured, they had not lost consciousness.
