Demand for luxury homes in Dubai is increasing. Meanwhile, an Indian family bought a property in Tilal Al Ghaf for 90.5 million dirhams (Rs 2,03,32,44,495). With this, Dubai’s largest real estate company, Metropolitan Premium Properties, has made the largest single-unit transaction in its history.

Spread over 30,200 square feet, the uber-luxury villa was designed by award-winning architecture firm SAOTA, while the interior was designed by Kelly Hoppen. The eight-bedroom villa has three floors: basement, ground and first floor with roof top access. It is owned by an Indian investor who regularly invests in the Dubai property market.

The prime property also includes three swimming pools, a gym, reception area and 24-hour security.

‘I have known this family for the past three years and have invested in many communities across Dubai for them. “They saw the villa on January 31 and the next day they bought it,” said Oybek Shamsiddinov, sales manager at Metropolitan Premium Properties. “The same villa in Palm Jumeirah would cost at least Dh250 million,” he said.

Tilal Al Ghaf is a mixed-used community in Dubai developed by Majid Al Futtaim. It aims to develop more than 350,000 square meters of open space besides schools, hospitals, restaurants and other residential facilities.

‘This is an important milestone for us and we are proud to be associated with this transaction,’ said Nikita Kuznetsov, CEO of Metropolitan Premium Properties. Waterfront properties are now very popular among investors, he said.

Lanai Island is one of two private islands in Tilal Al Ghaf, consisting of 13 luxury homes, with nine homes adjacent to the shores.
