Rabbi Avraham Shloshe, the chief rabbi of Kfar Saba, passed away last night and is 92 years old.
The late Rabbi Shloshe served as the Chief Rabbi of Kfar Saba for 62 years.
Rabbi Avraham Shloshe was born in 1929 in the Old City of Jerusalem to the late Rabbi Yosef Shloshe, who was the rabbi of the Western community in Jerusalem.
In 1959 he was appointed Chief Rabbi of Kfar Saba.
Adv. Eitan Tsanani MM and Deputy Mayor Speed:
The late Rabbi Avraham Shlosh was a wise student with great knowledge of Torah and Halacha. The rabbi knew how to accept everyone with his problems with joy and kindness while finding a solution to problems.
The contribution of the late Rabbi Shloshe to Kfar Saba will be recorded in the city’s history book for generations.
Rabbi Sasson Trabelsi, Chairman of the Religious Council in Kfar Saba, hastened: The departure of the late Rabbi Shloshe, who was a distinctly wise student with preconceived notions and miraculous leadership, is a great loss and the city of Kfar Saba laments the loss of this huge personality. The late Rabbi was a unique personality and thanks to the longevity he gained, he was a link between the previous generation and the new generation.
The late Rabbi Shloshe was a relic of the rabbis’ generation of elephants and we are fortunate to have been with him.

Mayor Rafi Saar: “Kfar Saba sadly says goodbye to the leader of the community, the Chief Rabbi of Kfar Saba, the late Rabbi Avraham Shloshe. Rabbi Shlosh passed away on a good return after many years as a religious leader, and served as a figure with great influence on the residents of the city for many decades. Of blessed memory”.

The departure of the late Rabbi is lost to the city and its inhabitants, may his memory be blessed forever.
