Theni: The Legal Affairs Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mahila Court Judge Tilakam at the District Integrated Court. Associate Justice Rajmohan, Magistrates Gopinathan, Lalitharani and Associate Justice Sundari presided.
In the Legal Affairs Commission meeting, all pending property and money related litigations, consumer litigations, auto accident, alimony, bank loan, domestic violence litigation, cheque, land acquisition, labor welfare compensation, education loan, revenue and solvable criminal cases were heard bilaterally.
A similar incident took place in Periyakulam in the presence of Associate Justice Mariyappan and Magistrate Sharmila. It took place in the presence of Associate Justice Suresh Kumar, District Law Judge Saravanasendhil Kumar, Magistrate Ramesh and Ramanathan at Uttamapalayam. The cases were heard in the presence of District Law Judge Kannan, Magistrate Pichairajan in Antipatti and in the presence of Magistrate Velumay in Bodinayaknuar.
Cases pending in court across the district and 2010 cases held in banks for bad loans amounting to Rs. 4.14 crore was settled.
