As I recall, the winger has already finalized his terms and the club even announced his continued journey, but the official signing is expected during the day. The new contract will also include the low departure clause abroad (300,000 euros) at the request of the player and his representatives. Atzili will become the top earner at the club and is expected to earn about half a million euros per season, after his contract that was supposed to expire at the end of next season was 350,000 euros.
In addition, Azili has bonuses for involvement in goals, winning the championship, the state cup, as well as qualifying for the group stage of a European enterprise. In two years at Maccabi Haifa, he scored 52 goals and added 35 assists in 112 appearances in all formats.
In the meantime, Maccabi Haifa is also interested in extending the contract of Dolev Haziza, who scored his first goal of the season last night in the league. His contract ends at the end of next season and the Greens have an option, but the desire is to ensure his continuation for many years in the shadow of the growing interest of Partizan Belgrade.
His salary so far was 250,000 euros and he is expected to receive a significant upgrade, when the new contract will not include an exit clause.
