A 35-year-old young woman, a resident of Jerusalem, was detained today (Sunday) for questioning by the police, this after she arrived at the Western Wall wearing a bathing suit, and also with “Bibi” written on her thigh.

The suspect caused a great deal of outrage mainly due to the fact that she grabbed a prayer arrangement, arrived at the holy place allegedly with the aim of provoking a provocation. As mentioned, the young woman was taken for questioning by the police and at this stage the motive is not yet clear with certainty. The incident led several women to turn to that young woman, but she remained where she was until she was stopped by the police on the spot.

As you may recall, last week the Shas Party caused a stir after it wanted to bring up for discussion the Western Wall Law, which was shelved despite the fact that it referred to regulations from 50 years ago and ordered imprisonment in case of immodest clothing at the holy place.
