In 2018, PS Mithran made his directorial debut in Tamil with the film Iron Screen. The 2019 film ‘Hero’ received mixed reviews. But the next film Sardaar with Karthi was a huge hit.

Along with Karthi, Sardaar featured Laila, Rajisha Vijayan, Rashi Khanna, YouTube celebrity Rithvik in lead roles. GV Prakash Kumar composed the music. According to official reports, the film has collected more than Rs.100 crore worldwide.

It is noteworthy that the film’s producer Laxman Lanson gifted a car to director PS Mithran due to the film’s huge collection success.
He tied the knot with his girlfriend Ashmeera Ayyappan in Thanjavur in front of family and friends. Film celebrities are congratulating him. Ratnakumar, the director of ‘Gulu Gulu’, and Ravikumar, the director of ‘Today, Yesterday, Tomorrow’, attended the wedding.
