Mayiladuthurai: Balayur police have investigated the sudden disappearance of a girl who was alone at home near Mayiladuthurai.
Vadivelu hails from Thirukulambiam Pilliyar Kovil Street, Guthalam Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District. He runs a grocery store near the house. Vadivelu and his wife Usha attended the shop on the evening of 6th. Their 2nd daughter Durga is 17. He was at home after completing Plus Two. When I went home in the middle of business, I found the front door ajar. Durga was missing from the house as the back door was left open.
Vadivelu lodged a complaint at the Balayur police station about her daughter’s disappearance as she was nowhere to be found. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and are investigating. The sudden disappearance of a girl who was alone at home has created a sensation in the area.
