UAE Vice President approves Dubai Airtaxi stations

Dubai: UAE Vice President has approved the design of air taxi stations. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced on Twitter that the air taxi service will be launched within three years.

With the launch of Air Taxi, Dubai will be the first city in the world to have a fully developed network of Vertiports. Air taxis have a maximum speed of 300 km per hour.

An air taxi has seating for one pilot and four passengers. Air Taxi will connect the four main areas of Dubai International Airport, Downtown Dubai, Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina.
