The champions were won by Sunrisers Eastern Cape

The SA 20 Over Cricket League tournament was held in South Africa. SA Wayne Parnell’s Pretoria Capitals vs Aidan Markram’s Sunrisers Eastern Cape clash in the final of the 20 over league series.

After winning the toss, Sunrisers Eastern Cape opted to bowl. Accordingly, the Pretoria Capitals team, who fielded first, lost all 10 wickets in 19.3 overs and were bowled out for 135 runs at the end of 20 overs. Gusal Mendis scored the maximum 21 runs of the team.

Chasing a target of 136 runs, Sunrisers Eastern Cape won by 137 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 16.2 overs.

Thus Sunrisers won the title of Eastern Cape champions.
