The actress and wife of the Israeli consul in New York is one of the most powerful network personalities on Instagram. Her account has over 500,000 active followers, and each of her posts receives tens of thousands of likes. Despite all this, Wertheimer does not tend to share her personal opinions on social media. Today (Sunday) she revealed the real reason for this. “You can probably see that I’ve been less active on Instagram in the last year,” she addressed her followers in her story, “It’s related to the fact that I have a lot of limitations in this space.”
“It drives me crazy”
The anchor of the network continued and explained, “Mainly because I am part of a house that is on a diplomatic mission, and the highest value in such a mission is ‘statehood’.” Wertheimer expanded and added a definition to the word statehood, to explain to followers who do not understand. In the photo she attached, it was explained that these are values shared by the entire population and that they should prefer them to their personal values, even if they do not necessarily agree with them. “It drives me crazy,” she shared with her followers, “and when I’m in Israel even more so.”

“Please don’t shut up”
Wertheimer continued in another story with a request to her followers, “If you have the ability to influence, study, read, volunteer, write, even demonstrate for the sake of love,” she wrote in a plea, “but please don’t be silent.” Wertheimer asked her followers to maintain a respectful and loving discourse, for the sake of our people and for the sake of the future generation. “How much we fought for our country,” she wrote and added, “our people, part of whose charm is the plurality of opinions, don’t give up.” Wertheimer insisted that this is the majority of the people who are interested in security and equality, “we have a common goal”.
“Blai influencer who can’t speak”
The network anchor called herself a “weary influencer who can’t speak”, and appealed to those who could. “It’s not obvious that you have the ability to speak,” she claimed, and shared a photo of a call to female network influencers to come out and demonstrate and voice them all. “Polite influencers don’t make history,” Wertheimer quoted from the ad, confirming her agreement. “I want to remind you to echo love and your values,” she concluded her words, “so many need it right now, everything feels like a mess. Spread love.”
