When you visit a fast food restaurant, beware of this dish

A doctor specializing in heart diseases warned against choosing a specific side dish that is served in most restaurants, due to its health risks, according to what was reported by the “She Finds” website.

And Dr. Nitin Bhatnagar considered that “one of the worst side dishes when visiting a famous restaurant chain is” french fries, which are covered with other additives or ingredients such as cheese, onion rings or bacon.

“Adding fats, oils or fried things to already fried items simply compounds the bad effects on the heart through extra fat or extra salt, and can increase the risk of clogged arteries which can lead to heart attacks and strokes,” he said.

He pointed out that eating this dish, if it is at intervals from time to time, there is no problem, “but eating it continuously, harms the health of the heart and arteries.”

Bhatnagar stressed that a healthy heart is essential to overall health, and that the best way to maintain it is to eat a balanced diet and exercise regularly.
