A Women’s Premier League 20 Over cricket tournament has been introduced like IPL. The first series will be held in Mumbai from 4th to 26th next month. For this, based on 5 cities namely Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Lucknow and Mumbai, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bangalore, U.P. Warriors and Gujarat Giants have been formed. Each team is allowed to spend Rs 12 crore on the auction.

All 5 teams require 90 players including 30 foreigners. A total of 448 players from 15 countries have been included in the auction list. 269 ​​of them are Indians. 179 players are foreign.
