The incident took place on Saturday morning in Kentucky. Police said they received a report of a shooting at a hotel in southwestern Kentucky at 9:48 a.m.

Later, during the search of the hotel, the body of the employee was found with gunshot wounds to the head and several parts of the body on the first floor. They were rushed to the nearest hospital but died.

The police said that the accused revealed that he had a problem with the couple for not giving them a cigarette lighter in the parking lot and beat them up. After the problem with the couple, the accused entered the hotel with a handgun. Then he opened fire. A few people were nearby at the time, but no one else was injured. A short time later, the man threw the gun into the hotel lobby, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said.

Robert, a native of Palm Coast, Florida, stayed at this hotel. It is not clear what provoked the accused. The sheriff’s office said the investigation is ongoing. He was booked into the McCracken County Jail.
