Man is hit by two rubber bullets in pre-carnival in the north zone of Rio de Janeiro – Rio de Janeiro

Valnei da Silva Martins, 25, was hit by rubber bullets fired by a military policeman during a pre-Carnival riot on Bica beach, on Ilha do Governador, in the north zone of Rio. Friends took the victim to the Evandro Freire Municipal Hospital, where he was treated and released shortly afterwards. The neighborhood battalion and the Military Judiciary Police Station will investigate the case.
