4 ATM in Tiruvannamalai district last night. The incident of breaking the machines and looting 75 lakhs has caused an additional shock. To nab the robbers, special police forces have deployed in Tiruvannamalai, Vellore districts and Andhra border areas and intensified investigation.
In this context, in response to the incident of 4 ATM robberies, the police engaged in intensive vehicle inspection operations across Tiruvannamalai district. The police are conducting intensive search of vehicles in major parts of Tiruvannamalai and tollgates. The inspection has also been intensified in Tirupattur, Vellore, Ranipet and Thanjavur districts.
Also, the police are examining the CCTV footage of the area where the ATM robbery took place and the district boundaries. This robbery incident has created a sensation not only in Tiruvannamalai district but also in all areas.
In this case, in 4 ATM machines Rs. 75 lakh robbery incident, North zone IG Kannan has issued an order to transfer 6 persons including special assistant inspector, head constable, who are not engaged in night security duty, to district armed duty.
